About

History

Dovre has been importing and distributing specialty foods from Europe since 1957. We started from grassroots, importing Norwegian and other Scandinavian fare for local European delis and specialty shops.

For over 60 years our business has grown to include a wide variety of premium brands from across multiple categories. While we continue to import specialty products from Europe, our focus has shifted to include many natural, organic, domestic and local brands.

Today we import and distribute specialty food brands from around the world in both refrigerated and dry containers. Focusing on quality, innovation and sustainability, we market and deliver more than 2,500 skus to over 1,000 retail locations across Western Canada.
